Located in the Scott's Addition neighborhood of Richmond, The Icon combines trendy urban living with a sophisticated twist. The property is a unique combination of two buildings: a six-story structure located on Broad Street, and a 12-story tower situated behind it. We offer luxe one- and two-bedroom apartments at all-inclusive prices – a rarity in Richmond. Modern, bright and airy interiors are juxtaposed with a nostalgic green and yellow building exterior (a nod to its original 1963 design). The reimagined former hotel and tower (2021) offer the perfect balance of historic elements and new development. What makes us so iconic? That's a loaded question. Our state-of-the-art amenities and attainable pricing are certainly a factor. But it wouldn’t be a Main Street Realty property if we didn’t provide a quick history lesson. Our name is a nod to the Golden Age of Hollywood and its iconic figures. The six-story portion of our property was formerly Andy Warhol’s preferred hotel during his visits to Richmond. The hotel offered him a perfect view of what was then a Coca-Cola bottling plant. This scene is said to have inspired his famous Coca-Cola artwork series.
